Every year I am thrilled to be inundated with requests from students to come and spend time on work experience with me and my office - both here at Westminster and in Salisbury. To make the application process a little less ad hoc, I have decided to implement a new application procedure to ensure that I get a good spread of the best students from a wide variety of schools and backgrounds in Salisbury and South Wiltshire.
Today therefore marks the beginning of an application window for work experience in 2019. If you would like the opportunity to be considered for work experience for a week next year, then you will need to email your CV and a short cover letter to [email protected] setting out exactly why you are interested in doing work experience with me. It would also be helpful if you provide some dates in the cover letter when you would ideally like to do work experience next year. You will need to get that to me by close of play on Friday 7 December.
