John Glen MP visits EdUKaid

I am proud to be supporting a great, local, Downton based charity with their vision to ensure that every child has the access they need to the education they deserve. EdUKaid, founded in 2003, set out their mission to help provide lasting change in developing parts of the world, giving children the chance to realise their full potential and attain the skills they need to improve their own lives and the lives of people living in their communities. Since opening its first pre-primary class in 2009, EdUKaid has renovated 20 primary schools, opened 15 pre-primary classes, and supported over 300 teachers and head teachers to enhance and improve their skills. I want all vulnerable children around the world to have the chance of a great education, and EdUKaid has made huge progress towards this goal.
